The McFlies are a family of seven very talented and very versatile musicians who put a whole new spin on "retro". While boomers were beginning to settle down in the 80's, gen's X and Y were being hatched. The endearing appeal of music from that decade crosses more generations than any other. That's the secret: more songs, more meaningful, to more people.
Their twist is that they do these great classics on acoustic instruments - not a single synth or drum machine. Accordion, melodica, harmonicas, and fiddle provide colour over a rhythmic melange of acoustic guitars, ukeleles, banjo, hand-drums and bass.
The McFlies are the world's first "Un-Cover Band" and it's ultimate fun. A night with The McFlies makes you happy to be there. You get up, you rock, and you sing along.
